Gostovanje pobjednika Bilhorod Circus Festivala iz Ukrajine
Bilhorod Circus Fest nije običan festival. U selu Bilohorodka nedaleko od Kijeva u Ukrajini, usred rata, već šest godina mladi ukrajinski umjetnici – djeca i tinejdžeri – izlaze na scenu i lete. Akrobati, ekvilibristi, zračni brojevi, kontorzije. Festival koji je 2025. okupio 120 djece iz cijele Ukrajine, a 2026. još više, postao je mjesto gdje se talent čuje glasnije od sirena.
Ove jeseni pobjednici i najbolji brojevi tog festivala dolaze u Hrvatsku. To nije samo gostovanje. To je zahvala.
35 talentiranih mladih akrobata u dobi od 8 do 18 godina koji se školuju kroz jedinstveni profesionalni program izvedbenih cirkuskih vještina, predstavit će se u Opatiji a iznos prikupljen od prodaje ulaznica bit će doniran u humanitarne svrhe.
Hrvatska humanitarna udruga Dobro Dobrim DoDo već godinama šalje konvoje pomoći u Ukrajinu – hranu, lijekove, odjeću, opremu. Jedna od rijetkih organizacija koja ne staje na granici, nego ide do onih kojima je najteže. Festival u Bilohorodki dobio je njihovu potporu te organizira njihov dolazak. Sada se krug zatvara: umjesto da samo primaju pomoć, ovi mladi umjetnici dolaze pokazati što su uspjeli sačuvati – tijelo koje se ne lomi, volju koja se ne predaje i umijeće koje rat nije uspio ugasiti.
Za njih je ovo prilika da na nekoliko dana zaborave zvukove koje već predugo slušaju. Da umjesto skloništa vide punu dvoranu. Da umjesto straha osjete aplauz. Da pokažu Hrvatskoj – i sebi – da još uvijek znaju letjeti.
Oni nisu samo akrobati. Oni su djeca koja su odrastala uz rat, a ipak su odabrala scenu umjesto očaja. Njihovi brojevi nisu samo trikovi. Svaki salto, svaka figura u zraku, svaki trenutak ravnoteže nosi poruku: još smo ovdje. Još stvaramo ljepotu.
Dođite ih pogledati. Ne kao publika koja traži spektakl, nego kao ljudi koji razumiju što znači dati nekome prostor da na trenutak diše slobodnije.

Performance by the Winners of the Bilhorod Circus Festival from Ukraine
The Bilhorod Circus Fest is not an ordinary festival. In the village of Bilohorodka, near Kyiv, Ukraine, in the midst of war, young Ukrainian artists – children and teenagers – have been taking to the stage and flying for six years. Acrobats, equilibrists, aerial acts, contortionists. The festival, which brought together 120 children from across Ukraine in 2025, and even more in 2026, has become a place where talent speaks louder than sirens.
This autumn, the winners and the finest acts from the festival are coming to Croatia. This is more than just a guest performance. It is a gesture of gratitude.
Thirty-five talented young acrobats, aged between 8 and 18, who are trained through a unique professional programme in performing circus arts, will perform in Opatija. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to humanitarian causes.
The Croatian humanitarian association Dobro Dobrim DoDo (DoDo) has been sending aid convoys to Ukraine for years – delivering food, medicine, clothing and equipment. It is one of the few organisations that does not stop at the border, but continues on to those who need help the most. The Bilohorodka Festival received their support, and DoDo is now helping to organise the young artists’ visit to Croatia.
Now the circle is complete: instead of simply receiving aid, these young artists are coming to show what they have managed to preserve – bodies that refuse to break, a spirit that refuses to surrender, and a craft that war has failed to extinguish.
For them, this is an opportunity to forget, for a few days, the sounds they have been hearing for far too long. To see a full auditorium instead of a shelter. To feel applause instead of fear. To show Croatia – and themselves – that they still know how to fly.
They are not just acrobats. They are children who have grown up in the midst of war, yet have chosen the stage instead of despair. Their acts are more than just tricks. Every somersault, every figure in the air, every moment of balance carries a message:
We are still here. We are still creating beauty.
Come and see them perform. Not as an audience seeking spectacle, but as people who understand what it means to give someone the space to breathe a little more freely, if only for a moment.
