Jerry Ricks Blues festival okuplja glazbenike i ljubitelje blues glazbe iz cijelog svijeta i stvara jedinstveno iskustvo koje se ne zaboravlja lako, prilika da uživate u nevjerojatnim izvedbama i osjetite duboku emociju koju blues glazba pruža, pjesme koje govore o ljubavi, boli, gubitku i nadi.
Priča započinje s američkim blues glazbenikom, Jerry Ricksom, koji je našao svoj dom u malom hrvatskom gradiću Kastvu. Kastav je postao njegov dom i mjesto na kojem je počeo utjecati na lokalnu blues glazbenu scenu. Kastav Blues Festival osnovan je 2008. godine u njegovu čast, a kasnije se spojio s Opatija rivijera blues festivalom i postao Jerry Ricks Blues Festival.
Ove godine u sklopu Jerry Ricks Blues Festival na maloj sceni Ljetnoj pozornice nastupaju Pussy Wagons (IT) i Mike Sponza (IT).

Jerry Ricks Blues Festival brings together musicians and blues music lovers from all over the world and creates a unique experience that is not easily forgotten, an opportunity to enjoy incredible performances and feel the deep emotion that blues music provides, songs that speak of love, pain, loss and hope.
The story begins with American blues musician, Jerry Ricks, who found his home in the small Croatian town of Kastav. Kastav became his home and the place where he began to influence the local blues music scene. Kastav Blues Festival was founded in 2008 in his honor, and later merged with the Opatija Riviera Blues Festival to become the Jerry Ricks Blues Festival.
This year, as part of the Jerry Ricks Blues Festival, Pussy Wagons (IT) and Mike Sponza (IT) will perform on the small stage of the Open Air Theatre.
