THE BESTBEAT
The Beatles Tribute Band

THE BESTBEAT
The Beatles Tribute Band
The Bestbeat (Beatles tribute band) was formed in the spring of 2005, with the desire to remind the audience of the greatest musical group of the 20th century. When performing Beatles songs, they insist on the same approach that artists who perform works of classical music have. More precisely, each part, vocal or instrumental, is interpreted as the four guys from Liverpool imagined it. The Bestbeat play on instruments that the Beatles also used (Ludwig drums, Rickenbacker, Epiphone, Gretsch and Hofner guitars, Vox amplifiers), and there are also costumes from different periods of their career, as well as the unforgettable mop-top hairstyles that marked the sixties.
In July 2009, at Pamela Anderson’s party, The Bestbeat performed with Mr. Peter Asher, a collaborator of the Beatles under the Apple record company and a member of the duet Peter and Gordon for which Paul McCartney wrote several compositions (I Don’t Want To See You Again, Woman, Nobody I Know), among them the big hit A World Without Love (which they performed together in a live television broadcast).
In April 2012, The Bestbeat was among the 30 best Beatles tribute bands on the planet, as chosen by the most widely circulated American magazine Newsweek, in a special edition dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the release of the first Beatles single.
In August 2014, they held 14 concerts in Liverpool, at the prestigious Beatle Week international festival. The festival, which has existed for over thirty years, gathered around 60 bands from over 40 countries. The Bestbeat were the first representatives of Serbia at this event.
During 2022 and 2023, as part of the Pop Legends tour, they toured the whole of France and for the third time in their career performed in the “Palais des Sports” hall in Paris, where the Beatles held their big Paris concert in 1965.
The Bestbeat is Tadija Telesković as John Lennon, Damjan Dašić as Paul McCartney, Marko Ćalić as George Harrison and Dušan Živanović as Ringo Starr.
